We are convinced that only institutionally organised assistance is capable of creating lasting social and community changes. One-off or short-term assistance is inefficient and reinforces socially pathological conditions, consequently resulting in more harm and losses than gains.

It is precisely for that reason, having drawn conclusions from experience, that we invest in human capital and build a powerful and well-organised environment which builds “know-how on helping” and specialises in community activity.

Each area of operation of our Association has an appropriate representation in its Board. The regular meetings of the Board are a forum for exchanging crucial information, discussions, and decisions. We learn management from the best. We successfully adapt the tested business tools used by our commercial partners to the needs of managing a non-profit organisation. We learn management from private entrepreneurs, at the same time teaching the private sector to be sensitive to social needs.
